Golf Course of the Year
A great course design, superb course conditions and a staff committed to offering exceptional customer service have made Sandpiper Bay the 2010 Myrtle Beach Area Golf Course of the Year.
Commitment to Quality
Sandpiper Bay is committed to providing a high-quality experience on superbly maintained fairways and greens. Recently, all 27 greens have been converted to MiniVerde Bermuda, the best of the new hybrid bermuda strains. As part of the comprehensive renovation process, over 250 trees were removed, bridges and tees rebuilt, cart paths repaved and restrooms updated. The completion of these renovation projects puts Sandpiper Bay in a perfect position to provide the finest golfing experience at the best value along the Grand Strand.
Crafted into Coastal Landscape
Sandpiper Bay features 27 holes set in the beautiful coastal landscape of North Carolina on the famed Myrtle Beach Grand Strand. Built to be highly playable, our courses are carved out of a natural pine tree forest. The courses feature gentle doglegs with elevated tees and greens. While the regular tees are located to afford the average player an enjoyable round of golf with scoring opportunities, the championship tees can challenge even the best of the low handicappers. All three Sandpiper Bay courses have their own unique character and include four sets of tees and yardages to challenge players of all abilities.
